I spoke up and said something and she claims that acrylic nails just mean that your nails are painted? So she finally gave me what I wanted and charged me $70 when they are usually around $40. Very disappointed. Would not recommend. Read Less

OUCH! I'm one who doesn't have much for nails #nailbiter but I love to get pedicures. My mom took me out for mani/pedi on my birthday. First manicure and probably last. He pulled out so much of my skin on my finger that it was bleeding like a stuck pig. He couldn't get it to stop, then a girl came over and she couldn't get it to stop. I think they spent more time trying to get my finger to stop bleeding than anything else that day. Don't get me wrong the guy was friendly and sociable but what an experience. Needless to say they never did finish my mani and we still paid full price and in the end.....my finger ended up getting infected. It was horrible! Took two months to heal up and the pain subsided but what a horrible way to spend your birthday, huh?! I'll try to find a picture of my finger to post, I'm sure I got one somewhere along the way.... What an all around awful experience. I didn't see the colors I wanted in the gel polish samples so I showed the lady the colors in a photo (attached) and asked her if they had them. She told me to look in the basket. I explained that I didn't see them and that I hoped she would know what would be similar. She yelled at me and stated, "You've been sitting over there for a long time, you should have picked them out by now." I asked her not to yell at me. I requested a full acrylic set, almond shaped and she cut them very short and then tried to make them almond shaped and told me it was my fault for not telling her to make them longer. Every nail is pointing significantly to the right, and when I pointed it out she kept filing more off the wrong side making them even more right slanted. I am going to another salon to have them soaked off and a new set put on. What a disappointment. After all this she charges me $45 and then tells me my card 'might' have been charged twice, and told me to check with my bank and come back if that was the case. I told her "No, I will not be coming back here." In the end it was like a Pinterest Fail: Expectation vs. Reality - in photos attached. #SadNails Read Less

Went to Happy Nails for the first time today and I was SO impressed with my nail technician. Kim got me in for an acrylic fill with no wait time at all. She made sure the gel polish I picked out was exactly the color I wanted/ matched the sample. I’m most impressed with the care and percision she had with the shape of my nail right from my cuticles to the arch, to smoothing out my actual nail underneath/ around the edges of the acrylics. The length is perfect and didn’t question my preference (my nails are very long) unlike other salons I’ve been to. I had a broken nail which she worked with very gently too! Very unhappy customer, the lady who did my pedicure thought I had gel polish on my toenails and took a Drexel tool to my nails causing extreme pain the I unconsciously said what the phk out loud and I then said why are you doing this and not just using a normal buffer? She apologized then used the regular buffer but the damage has been done. She hurried through my pedicure and quickly splashed on a top coat. Honestly looks horrible. Read Less

This was the absolute most horrible experience I have ever had anywhere!!! First I asked if there was a wait, they said no I asked if they do the dip nails, they said yes, no I picked a color and proceeded to wait. Once I sat down the nail tech started to dremel my nails and then stopped and asked the lady in their native language something which I did not understand. Then he stopped and left me waiting there. After 10 minutes or so the lady came and sat down and told me that she did not have time to do the dip nails so I would have to have a refill and then come back again to do the dip. So with half dremeled Nails I decided to go with the refill and hopefully get out of there as soon as possible. She proceeded to murder my nails with a Dremel tool and I asked her to be gentle but she continued on and then when it came to shaping my nails she handed me the file and told me to shape them myself!!! She said she could not do the shape i was asking for so I needed to do it myself! I thought she was joking, then she handed me the file and walked away! Stunned, I sat there wondering if this was real. I did one nail so she could see what i was asking for and then I was thinking that she would do the rest because that is what I am paying her to do but apparently I was wrong and
